My name is Jenny.  I live near Bremen, Germany with my husband, Nico, daughter Isabella, son Joshua, and our pet cat, Pete.  I teach English and Spanish in high school.

I started this blog in 2010 when I moved to Germany as a way to keep friends and family up to date with my life.  It's developed into a more creative outlet detailing my craft projects, travel adventures and life goals.

 When I first moved to Germany, it was on a two year contract to liven up my CV for the British job market, which was pretty limited at the time.  However, I found life here in Germany healthier and more balanced, and met Nico.

We were married in Germany, with our friends and family around us, in Summer 2013, our daughter was born just under a year later and Joshua completed our family at the end of 2016. Now we are working on building our life together.  This blog follows those experiences as well as many others.
