Monday was all set to be our get everything done day in time for a visit from family and I was anticipating a lot of stress. Then I sat in my PJS jigsawing all morning, caught up on Strictly in the afternoon and we eventually got the DIY and cleaning done in the evening before sitting down to tea and Monk so on the whole a really productive yet also relaxing day - just what the holidays should be.
The flat looks a million times better, especially the kitchen - photos to follow.
Today it's up bright and early to head to the airport!
