As you know, it was my birthday last week and I was totally spoiled. We had a rather quiet one this year, which was nice after the active trip to the Harz the week before.
I opened my cards and presents in the morning which included lots of Easter decorations for the flat, Rumo (the sequel to 'The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear' which I told you about back in December), and these lovely new links to keep Buddha company...
In the afternoon we had a lovely walk in Park Links der Weser and took a trip to Roland Center for the houseplants. I also made some more progress on my latest read 'Storm of Swords' by George R. R. Martin. I can't tell you how much I am enjoying his whole series - gripping but hard going at 1100+ pages per book!
In the evening we enjoyed a delicious home made lasagne and watched the classic Casablanca.
