On Friday we headed back via Goslar again. We had a later start as we had to pack and clean up at the cabin The weather was pretty dreadful so we didn't feel like another hike, plus we had the cases. We headed back to Goslar and decided to visit some museums there. We visited the Goslar museum and the tin figure museum. Both museums were fairly interesting but I'm glad the entry price was so low (4 Euros for both) or I would have felt a bit cheated.
We were also lucky enough to catch the town clock at three o'clock and see these mining figures making their hourly rounds.
The rest of the journey back was pretty uneventful and we had a nice quiet evening back home.
Can't wait to visit again and we are hoping to get another day trip to Goslar in at some point. The Niedersachsen ticket (25 Euros for two people, for the whole day, bus and train) was fantastic value and we will be using it more in the future.
