Lately Nico has been getting into all things whisk(e)y and recently this little gem of a film was recommended on German television. It's a Scottish film set in Glasgow about a group of people doing community service, who get into whisk(e)y. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, so I'll just say that it was interesting in itself (i.e. non-whisk(e)y lovers like me can enjoy it too) and showed Scotland's amazing scenery too. I'd never heard of the film before but it just came out this year and is available on Amazon. It was referred to as the new Trainspotting but I don't think it really compares - except that it is set in Scotland. It's funny and has some familiar faces from British television.
