How has your week been? Here it's been tiring but good. Monday and Tuesday were especially stressful with only two of us in our office and trying to get work wrapped up before the class trip. One thing this year that has surprised me is how many little things I have to do that don't come under planning or marking and therefore often get forgotten, however many to do lists I write. I'm hoping to get them sorted in the holidays at the latest.
Anyway, work all sorted, we set of to Ristedt for our class trip on Wednesday. We were incredibly lucky with the weather - I wouldn't describe it as warm but it was dry which was the main thing. The games were brilliant. Our social worker team but them together with the teaching students and they did a great job - it was interesting for us as class teachers to observe how the kids work with each other through the challenges. There were no major dramas and the trip was a success. I've now caught up on my sleep to so it's all good!
On the Weightwatchers front - the news was as expected with 800g on but I've been eating better this week with only slightly less exercise so fingers crossed for Monday. Especially as we are heading to the Harz next week - I need a good start.
This afternoon we are heading into town for lunch and shopping. Later I will be doing a little Autumn / Christmas crafting - more on that later. Next week should be straight forward at work - no year ten and the last week before the holidays. Dad is arriving on Thursday and we are heading to Goslar on Friday for a much needed break! Have a good one.
