The Saturday Update

What a week!  I can't believe we've only been back at school one week.  There's been a lot to do but it really flew by.  It was great catching up with colleagues and getting back into a routine.  Most of my classes were good and the evening classes were back up in numbers too.

On Monday I found out I only put on 900g over Christmas (about 2lbs) so I was really pleased that that wasn't more!  Cycling again has also been great, I hope that pays off next Monday too.  

Yesterday I hit the shops with Loreto and now have a design for our wedding invitations, we just need to finalise the guest list and do the wording now and then we can put them all together and get them sent out!  We also hit the lingerie shops but a bit more on that later.  

I'm working on a couple of projects at the moment so that some more of my 28 things list will be ticked off this month.  I know I talked about limiting my goals this year but I really liked the idea of monthly goals that I have read about in several of my favourite blogs (over on the sidebar there) and I'm going to do some for myself but tying them into my main goals for the year.  If you remember they were:

  • Get back to my goal weight
  • Pay off two credit cards
  • Plan the wedding!
  • Stay in touch with friends and family more with Skype
  • Keep working on my 28 / 29 lists!
So my goals for January are:

  • Lose two kilos
  •  Pay something off my cards AND seperate the school finances from my own now the class account is finally set up!
  • Get the invitations made and sent
  • Have two Skype chats with two friends (one arranged for tomorrow with Hayley)
  • Tick three things off my 28 things list
