Recipe: Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients:

  •  25gg butter
  • 125g desiccated coconut
  • 125g caster sugar
  • 2 drops vanilla essence
  • 2 egg whites
Instructions:

  1.   Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cover a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Melt the butter, mix in the remaining ingredients and stir for four minutes.
  3. Shape the mixture into 24 balls on the baking parchment.
  4. Bake in the middle of the oven for twelve minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for fifteen minutes.
