Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100ml red wine
- 2 cans chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 can kidney beans
- 100g carrots
- 100g broccoli
- salt and pepper
- cinammon
- cardamom
- cumin
- coriander
- Cut and fry the onions, adding the crushed garlic when they start to brown.
- Add the wine, tomatoes, tomato puree and beans when the onions are browned.
- Chop the carrots and add to the mix.
- Add the spices and allow to simmer for about fifteen minutes.
- Add the broccoli.
- Simmer for a further ten to fifteen minutes. Adjust the spices to taste and serve.
