German bedding

I first realised that German bedding was different when staying with Nico's family. It's typical here for double beds to have two duvets (somewhere between the English single and double in size) and two big square pillows.

At first I hated the idea - not very romantic, one step away from seperate beds. Well, we recently made the switch and I wouldn't go back. No more tugs-of-war in the night and a much wider choice of bedding at local stores!
