One of the discussions on the Reinvention Programme has been following a whole foods diet which I find a compelling idea. Looking into this, I realised we already do a lot of this as we mainly cook from scratch, live gluten free and have cut a lot of meat out of our diet having seen films such as Forks Over Knives. However, there are still steps I can take to live more healthily and during the month of January I have put the following steps into practice -
- cutting out fizzy drinks
- almost cutting out alcohol
- drinking two litres of water per day
- eating brown rice instead of white
